Project 2: Best Photos
Project 2: Best Photos
For Rule of Thirds I chose the one with the light. It was the one that really helped me understand Rule of Thirds. I started understanding that I had to look through my camera like a grid (or dividing it in thirds (9 sections)). The cord for the light lining up with one of the lines and the light on two crossing lines.
Frame within a frame I chose the two E's in line with each other. I thought it looked really cool when looking through one and seeing another. I sat down and shot a photo looking between the E's.
For close up I chose the sculpture of paint. I thought the detail was absolutely amazing and the color really popped. It really helped me understand all the detail you can get with a camera.
Bird's eye view I found this really cool rope in a park. I noticed that even though the rope was not looking down at the plants, if you tip your camera down and get really close to the subject (the rope) the focal point (plants) can look like they are being looked upon by the eyes of a bird.
Bugs eye view I happened to find some really dirty grapes on the ground. So while everyone took photos of trees I set my camera on the ground capturing the focal point and the ground making it feel like a close up view of grapes behind the eyes of a bug.
Leading lines I found bricks on the ground. I was curious how it would look as a close up. The camera in the center of the line making it look long and much bigger than it was. It made me understand perception.
Diagonals I found a grid fence on a bridge and tilted my camera sideways to make them look like diagonals. It also made the road tilt and warp.
For filling in the frame I took a photo of this plant almost like grass. Zoomed in close until the plant consumed my camera.
