Project 1: Elements and Principles Poster

In this project, our class was to learn what Elements of Art and Principles of Design were. We experimented and tested what we knew by going outside and finding these Elements and Principles. 
Elements of Art are what a photo has; such as a line, a shape or color. However Principles of Design are the aspects or designs such as symmetry, patterns, movement or contrast.
In doing this project I started to think more about the things around me when I was taking a photo. What it would look like if there was contrast. I started to think about what the photo was whether it has shapes or contrast. I added the vocabulary to my photos and learned how even the worst thing can make great photos if I use contrast or look for way I can fit the picture into the categories.
